Boyfriend troubles, am i just being a brat?

my boyfriend and i have been together for 3 years now, and living together for almost 2. hes always been my best friend and always been there for me. when we first started dating, I had all the freedom in the world and he would do anything to spend time with me. i love him very much, and want to spend the rest of my life with him, but now that he has me, things have changed. he wont let me go out wiht my friends, or even drive anymore, i feel like he wants me to be completly dependant on him. even that i can live with. my main problem is he has a new job, and works from 8-5 or later sometimes, i work almost the same hours, and i understand he is tired, but he goes to bed at 10 becuase he has to work the next day. also understandable, but so do i! and im very needy and dependant now, and he wont even talk to me about letting me go out wih my friends, (its not me he doesnt trust he claims, its other guys that may be around..right) its just i either want more tie with him or a social life
