Is it worth getting a pedicure?

I'm a teenage girl and all my friends are getting pedicures. I'd really like to get one. I take care fo my feet by myself but I'd like professional care. But, this is kind of embarring, my feet are really, really ticklish and I'm worried about laughing like crazy and embarring myself at the salon. My friends all said that pedicures tickle. Any advice? Should I go for it or not?
