What does "I put 3 on their backs like an iverson jersey" mean?

In the Pop Champagne Remix, Ludacris says that line. I'm a huge hip-hop fan, it's my music of choice, but I can't stand stupid lines like this that make no sense at all. Someone please tell me what this could mean or make up something funny that it could mean. Thanks. G Funk Era.
