Hair Color Problem! Please Help!?

I naturally have medium dark brown hair. About a year ago I dyed my hair black with a demi-permanent. After, I used Henna to dye it Burgundy and it came out still black, but with Burgundy undertones. That was about six months ago. Now I want to dye my hair red. The black isn't in my hair anymore so it just looks brown with red, but if I dye it red will it turn some weird color because it already has burgundy dye in it?
