What should i do when my horse is mildly colicing?
My horse is mildly colicing. he has layed down 7 times today but is eating and drinking normaly. i listened to his intestines by resting my ear between his hip and rib cage area. they are gurgling and bubbling and echoing and ive that that is a good sign. he is not tired, still the same hyper arab he was yesterday. ive given him phylium and am going to continue doing that. he only eats tim and orchard hay so hes not eating any hay that is to dry. he coliced a while ago but it was gastric . i think it's gastric this time too. please, if you have any info please email back.
