How can I get more involved with horses?

I agree with the person who mentioned making a living at it. Many barns look for grooms or people to clean tack, get horses ready for lessons etc. You may want to look in some of the horse trade publications to see if any barn is looking to hire someone. That would give you a very good idea if working with horses is something you'd like to do on a regular all day basis.
