My great grandfather was given this artwork during WWI, Please help identify...?

I would try to contact an art gallery or an auction house. They will have people on staff who can perhaps give you information on your paintings. Or you can do an online search of the artists. There should be info out there. Try a library, look for books on art, and ask the librarian. They will be able to help you look in the right direction.
