Teen drinking?..teens/parents opionions please.?

okk well im a 16 yo girl and is it normal for teens to drink at this age. my first time i actually got "drunk" was 8thgr and now ((during the summer)) i drink **to get drunk** 2-3x a week. do other teens out there do this? in my area im deffinatly not the only one but is it common? what are your views?
