I naturally have medium dark brown hair. About a year ago I dyed my hair black with a demi-permanent. After, I used Henna to dye it Burgundy and it came out still black, but with Burgundy undertones. What can i do about a neighbor that damages my lawn with a plow on a private communal driveway?

i have a communal driveway with my house and a neighbor across the driveway and another neighbor in the back of the property. the driveway is covered in gravel but the neighbor in the backs driveway is paved. everytime it snows whether its 1 inch or 20 inches he plows leaving all the rocks and gravel no my lawn and damages my lawn where i have to reseed and level out the ground from the gouging from the plow. what can i do to get him to stop. i dont have any problems with my neighbor next to me and rocks, just the guy in the back. plus he doesnt offer to help clean up. i help shovel snow even though he has a plow but makes the mess anyway.

Could this mean I'm having twins?

I'm about 16 weeks pregnant now (with baby #2) and haven't had an ultrasound. My doc won't give me one until I'm about 20+ weeks. I've had 2 check-ups so far and my 3rd one next week. Well, the last time I went in at about 12 or 13 weeks, the nurse who doesn't normally try to find the heartbeat with the doppler went ahead and tried to do it herself and she found a heartbeat kind of close to my belly on in the 120's and she was like...hmm that might be the baby. Well, my doc came in and took over and she definitely found the heartbeat really low bellow my belly on and it was in the 150's. Could I be having twins, or was the nurse picking up my heartbeat? 120 sounds high for an adults heartbeat. I didn't have morning sickness and I think I'm showing normally so could it still be twins, or would there be more signs. Thanks

Should I refrain from having children?

I am babysitting my friends kids and they are little brats. I've always wanted children of my own but I'm starting to reconsider whether or not I like children. For example, when you've done everything you can to make a baby comfortable and it still cries. I don't know if I could deal with it. Dying my hair back to it's natural color?

I have had good luck with Garnier Nutrisse haircolor, if your hair is a natural dark brown, then make sure you stay away from anything that has the word golden in it.. that could turn your hair red. If the word ash is in the name it tends to be kind of blah.. try to stick with the natural colors. Without seeing your hair, I can't be for sure, look through the swatches if there are any at the store, or look on the top of the box, I have found it to be a good indicator to go on, remember, whatever color you choose will be a little darker to begin with but will lighten up with a few washings. Make sure you get a good conditioner too, because color treated hair does require more moisture. Good luck!

BMW heating/air conditioning not working?

I have a 95' BMW 318i. My heating/cooling system scarcely works at all. In the summer, the air conditioner didn't work. It makes the sound (as if it's blowing air) but when you put your hand over the openings where the air is supposed to blow from, you feel nothing. This was not too bad in the summer, as I just drove with all my windows open, but in the winter it's freezing! Same sort of problem, sounds likes it's blowing, but don't feel any air coming out. I can't even defrost my windows, they keep fogging up from the inside. If anyone has experienced similar issues or has a good idea of what the problem may be, kindly enlighten me. Thanks.

I have 2 layers of tile on my kitchen floor and I want to rip them out and replace them with hardwood. I think I can rip out the top layer easily enough but I'm worried about the layer beneath. She will do a pap smear which isnt painful just uncomfortable. just relax and breathe. have the gyne explain everything she/he is doing if it will make you feel more comfortable. Then he or she will do a internal exam. She/he will stick his/her finger in you and feel around to make sure everything is ok. I'm trying to find out what child car seats are usually made out of? It might sound like a strange question but I brought a car seat from Argos a few weeks ago that turned out to be made from polystyrene & it pretty much came apart in my hands while my daughter was travelling in it. I was very worried about the safety of my daughter that I no longer use the car seat. Anyone know of any that are made of something a bit stronger? I don't have a lot of money so I can't afford "the best" ones. We don't drive at the moment so we only need it for when we are in taxis or family cars. Thank you :-)

I have radiant floor heating. Without power, will my pipes freeze in the basement with no heat available?

My house was built 3 years ago with radiant floor heating in my basement which is living quarters. In the event of a power outage during a winter storm, my heating system would not run. What I need is ball park figure of the time that it would take to start freezing the water lines that are constructed within the cement slab floor. A brief outage obviously would be no problem. Lets say that at 10 F. the ice covered electric lines took 12 hours to get up and running. Probably, still cool. But at what length of time should I seriously consider going into debt for a generator? I'd rather buy a new genny than replace a radiant heating system. Or some Kerosone heaters to put on basement floor? We can survive without electric and provide some heat for the house for a few days but what would the danger be the the floor pipes freezing up because the water is not flowing. I have two non-electric heating devices for a 44x28 house, furnished basement & main floor. How prepared do I need to be?

Dream involving in a gun?

I dreamed last night that my step sister, who is not like this in real life, had a gun and pretty much went wild and out of control with her behavior. I dreamed that she hung around a bunch of bad influences and she was turning for some reason. I dreamed that she was telling my family that she might be and everyone started laughing at her except me b/c she had a gun and I didnt trust her if I laughed. Why can't I watch videos with media player?

Is Prenatal testing beneficial for the baby at all?

The only thing that we will be having done during this pregnancy is the 20 week ultrasound to check the heart function etc. I will not behaving extensive blood testing done as we will be keeping the baby no matter what. I suppose in certain cirstances pre-natal testing would be good for the baby but in our case, there are no major areas of concern on my side of my hubby's side that would make us worry. If there was something prevalent on either side of our family that raised concern with us or the doctor then I suppose we might opt for the testing but because there are no major areas on concern, we are opting out of testing.

I am thinking about suprising my family when they go on a vacationi to Disney World. I already have tickets and can get my own airfare and transportation from the airport. HAir follicle test and a prescription for flexeril. Will this cause a problem?

Ok so my hubby is up for a REALLY good job. They do a hair follicle test....(which is no big deal because he does't use any drugs) He does have a couple prescriptions for flexeril that he takes when he needs it for spasms in his back. A nurse friend of ours said that they test for benzodiazepines and that flexeril is clified under that. So now he is in a panic thinking this may prevent him from getting the job. I told him it's his prescription so it's okay, but he is still worried. Should he bring in the prescription before the test? Is it something that they will even test for for pre-employment? Or should he just take it and if they say he failed take the prescription in? This job will change our life and he doesn't want something like this to prevent him from getting it. He is trying to get ahold of someone at the office to see what he should do but can't get ahold of anyone that knows because they don't work for the lab. I just think it would be unfair for him to lose a chance because of something a Dr. gave him to use. Anyways, just wondering if anyone has been through this. THANKS IN ADVANCE! :)

Oils are not like Acrylics it can't be rushed. Anytime you use and paint as an under painting it should be applied in thin layers...turpentine or thinner should help. I find it you are painting in a pre primed canvas drying time may take a little longer, because of the coated finish. It best to buy canvas that have a matt finish or prime it yourself. The matt finish will allow the paint to absorb into the prime surface quickly therefore allowing it to dry faster.

Blood pressure question,help please?

My husband is 65 and in pretty good health. His blood pressure has been okay but occasionally was 130/90. Last week his pressure spiked to 210/150 and we went to the hospital. They addmited him and brought the pressure down. They did a cardiac cat scan, ultras sound of the heart, several ekg and blood tests. He was discharged and put on 25mg of metratroporal. The next day he went to his regular doctor and he put him on 50 mg. and did a kidney test. His blood pressure was fine for a few days and is now l40/95. He called the doctor and he said to take more medication. Does it take a while to regulate blood pressure? We are at a loss as to what is going on. This is our first experience with hypertension. Do you think all of the tests which came out fine, are enough? Are we missing any? Also, his stomach is upset today, does the medication do this? Should he have had a cat scan of the brain? So i just got out of basic training and i'm stationed at fort knox, ky and I'm getting deployed in a couple weeks to afghanistan. My unit left in december and january. However, I think that even though you do make most (i mean 90%) of your poem have smart rhymes, in some stanzas it seems that having to make it rhyme inhibits the poem. Plz help my four month old cant lift head or roll over?

hi my lo is 4 months and as of yet she cant lift her head when on her tummy and isnt as of yet grabbing for toys.although she can keep the hold of things if givin to her but onli for short time. she can lift her head a wee bit on her back and is tryin to pull herself up when on her back. she dosnt seem interested in toys like reaching for them and im gettin worried.also she was 4 weeks early could this be something to consider.altho she dosnt seem to be hittin the 3 month milestones either.she can keep her head up when sittin up (gettin held).

i have recently been having a problem with cat fleas. Blood work showed slightly elevated Triglycerides (I love brownies) and bad cholesterol was really low; good 2.5 x normal. I've been on a heart monitor for 2 weeks because I have been ping out. On your camera you should have a setting to lower the shutter speed in the form of 1/100 and so on which would mean a 100th of a second. So the lower you go down the list the longer the shutter will stay open for. At the bottom of the list there should be a mode called bulb mode which you can manually hold down the shutter for as long as you like :). Hope this helps you out :D

There is no NATO standard; it is not even standard between the services in the US. Marines and Army fire different qualification courses and ranges; I do not think the majority of the Navy or Air Force personnel do anything besides familiarization fire.

I have heard of many NDE stories which are quite compelling. However, being the eternal skeptic, the jury is out for me until I see a positive result in a good, controlled study. And there is one going on in England (sorry, no link). Researchers have put a number of pictures on the top shelf of a recussitation room where none of the staff can see them. Those brought back from the dead will be interviewed to see if any of them can identify those pictures. If they can, that would convince me that they somehow rose up out of their bodies and looked down at the scene below. This is the sort of evidence I would need to go from "quite compelling" to "Yes, it's real," in terms of the whole near death experience thing.

Is Denver or Boulder , Colorado a good place to live?

Denver is great, some suburbs are cheaper to live in than others. Boulder is cute, but expensive. Nearest skiing to Denver is about an hour and a half drive. Mountains are about one hour from Denver. There are tornadoes, but rarely. It is sometimes hot in the summer, but not excessively so. Rain...well some years are heavier than others, but there is not much rain...it is usually rather dry. Some winters are very cold with heavy snow, some are milder. Snow usually melts in a couple of days. Colorado is a fantastic state..all parts of it. Many things to do and places to go. You will LOVE Colorado. I lived there for over 30 years and loved it ...as do the great majority of people who live there.
